Professor Jacques Marescaux was honored at the National Congress of the Italian Society of Surgery in Bari.
He received the “Life Achievement Award for Scientific Activity in Mini-Invasive and Robotic Surgery.” This award recognizes his significant contributions to surgical research, education, and innovation.
The presentation was made by Professor Michele Simone, a former trainee and the congress president, before an audience of over 1,500 surgeons at the Petruzzelli Theater.
