On January 19, 2017, J. Scott Magnuson, MD, FACS, Chief Medical Officer, supervising and coordinating education at the Florida Hospital Nicholson Center (Orlando), and Todd Larson, Vice-President and Chief Clinical Officer, Mimic Medical Education & Development (Orlando), toured the IRCAD with Professor Jacques Marescaux and Professor Luc Soler.
They all took part in a video conference with the team of the Orlando Nicholson Center, one of the most prestigious training centers in minimally invasive surgery in the United States. The objective was to make a first contact with IRCAD and establish a partnership for research, innovation, and training programs between IRCAD and the Nicholson center.
