This was an opportunity for Professor Marescaux to give a detailed presentation to his Excellency on the IRCAD concept and the new IRCAD Africa mirror institute, which will be inaugurated in a few months in Kigali.
After a complete tour of the Institute, IRCAD research director Alexandre Hostettler was given the opportunity to present the ambitious Franco-African “Disrumpere” program. This project aims to develop a “low cost” technology for the diagnosis and treatment of certain tumors.
